Application Programmer - Database

This position required senior BI/Tableau developer with very strong SQL skills. Person should be Passionate, Data-centric, focused individuals with at least 8 - 10 years of experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create dashboards and reports using Tableau

Set up Tableau Server and publish workbooks

Manage user accounts and server content

Conduct training to educate users on Tableau

Design and implement proof of concept solutions, and create advanced BI visualizations using trending, historical, and KPI info.

Strong skill in SQL querying diverse type of databases and high level joins.

Interact with business users and understand their requirements

Develop impactful presentations and documents, including written training materials

Communicate complex topics to team through both written and oral communications

QUALIFICATIONS:

6+ years of Tableau development

Bachelor's Degree

Proficient with Agile/ Kanban

Proficient with BI visualizations

Strong SQL Skills - one or more of MySQL, Oracle, HIVE, Impala

Strong communication skills

Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets

Ability to comprehend customer requests and provide the correct solution

Strong analytical mind to help take on complicated problems

Desire to resolve issues and dive into potential issues

Ability to adapt and continue to learn new technologies is important

MicroStrategy experience is a plus.
