Application Integration Architect

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement integration architectures to connect various applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain integration solutions using middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure that integration solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure solutions function as expected.
• Create and maintain documentation for integration designs, configurations, and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in application integration.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on integration projects.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement integration governance and standards to ensure consistency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Application Integration Architect or similar role
• Strong proficiency with integration platforms and middleware such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.
• Experience with APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and message queuing technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of data integration, data mapping, and transformation techniques.
• Understanding of security best practices in solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer, Dell Boomi Professional Developer, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud integration platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies.
