Description

Requirements:

  • Typically has 5 to 8 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work.
  • Solid foundation in C#, along with expertise in ASP.Net Core (including MVC), database interaction and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, BootStrap, and JavaScript.

 

Additional Skills:

This position supports the Vital Statistics IT team, which manages critical systems including birth, death, marriage, divorce certificates, and related services integrating federal and Social Security data. Unlike many IT teams funded by grants, this team is self-funded and revenue-generating for the state. The team is currently engaged in a major modernization effort—migrating 18-year-old legacy web forms to updated platforms using C# and .NET Core.
