Job Title: Application Security Architect

Location: Remote 

Duration : 6  months

Our client is a leading cybersecurity services provider engaged with one of the world’s largest and most innovative global airlines. This end-client is recognized for its cutting-edge, well-funded security program and commitment to continuous advancement. The organization invests heavily in its cybersecurity infrastructure, offering a dynamic and strategic environment for experienced security professionals to thrive.

Must Have Skills:

·  Proven experience in application security architecture

·  Architecture expertise spanning multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., AppSec, Network Security)

·  Deep understanding of SAST (Static Application Security Testing), DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing), and SCA (Software Composition Analysis) tools and solutions

·  Recent hands-on experience in security architecture with the ability to dive deep into technical conversations

·  Strong self-management capabilities with excellent communication skills

·  Nice to have: Consulting experience as a trusted security advisor 

Responsibilities and Job Details:

·  Lead application security architecture initiatives across business units

·  Engage in hands-on technical design and implementation of secure application solutions

·  Provide expertise across various cybersecurity domains, beyond just AppSec

·  Act as a security advisor within the organization, offering guidance on best practices and strategic initiatives

·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, infrastructure, and compliance

·  Conduct risk assessments and security reviews for new and existing applications

·  Participate in threat modeling and vulnerability management activities

·  Stay abreast of emerging security trends and technologies, integrating them where applicable

·  Ensure that architecture designs meet both security and business requirements

·  Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including technical teams and senior leadership

·  Operate autonomously in a high-responsibility, senior-level role within the organization

·  Contribute to the continued growth and maturity of the organization’s security programs and frameworks
