Application Architect

• Serve as the technical visionary and provide direction within the application domain.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate the application architecture and roadmap.
• Design, document, develop, and govern reusable frameworks and platforms for wider technical teams.
• Create and evolve application architecture strategy aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Govern and communicate architectural best practices and trends.
• Set and maintain standards for design leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Evaluate products/solutions within the architectural domain.
• Thoroughly understand application flows and processes to support senior management.
• Mentor and guide technical delivery staff.
• Lead, mediate, and resolve conflicts among team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
   

Qualifications & Skills

 

• 5+ years experience with ATM and Branch Systems, batch and backend integrations.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work across business/IT teams.
• Skilled in documentation standards, problem-solving, and decision making.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with banking data models, financial services, and fintech systems.
• Proficient with Agile, DevOps, SDLC, CI/CD, data infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with architecture modeling (Archimate, Archi).
• High professionalism, organizational skills, and ability to build credibility.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
