Appian Designer / Developers

Job Description:

• The consultants will lead the design and development of Appian applications, automating and optimizing complex processes to improve workflows and customer experiences. 
• They will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle. 
• Key responsibilities include designing and developing Appian applications, ensuring adherence to best practices, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery. 
• It's essential to stay updated with the latest Appian releases and industry trends to enhance existing solutions continually.

Skills Required:

• Experience: 10+ years of experience working for US companies in the US, 10+ years of experience with Appian, and 4+ years as a Senior designer/developer with at least 4 end-to-end Appian BPM implementation projects.
• Appian Expertise: Recent hands-on experience with Appian (17x/18x/19x), 4+ years of SAIL code experience, and excellent knowledge of various Appian objects and features.
• Agile Methodologies: 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale applications following Agile methodologies.
• Web Services: 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing SOAP and REST web services.
• Requirements Gathering: 4+ years of experience working with users to gather and refine requirements.
• Certifications: Certified Level 2 or Level 3 Appian Developer certification is a big plus.
• Additional Skills: Experience in an Insurance environment is preferred, Java development experience is a strong plus, and exposure to programming languages like WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net is preferred.
• Leadership: Ability to mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices for elevated Appian application development
