API Test Lead

Role Description:
Manual testing:

• Testing API endpoints by sending requests using various HTTP methods.
• Validating the APIs response against expected outcomes and data accuracy.
• Validating non-functional aspects such as response time, other aspects of performance, Security, authentication.
• Experience in analyzing performance reports and collaborate with developers, users to improve service performance.
• Automation test enhancements:
• Develop tools, frameworks and methodologies to ensure effective testing of APIs/apps.
• Maintain existing suite of automation /performance test scripts

Technical Skills:

• Must have a strong hands-on experience in testing CICD tools like Jenkins, load testing tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter and automation tools like Karate.
• WebMethods testing experience is preferred.
• Release Management
• Oversee the software life cycle and ensure successful and smooth deployments
