API Engineer

We are looking for a talented and driven API Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs that connect various systems and services. You will collaborate closely with product teams, software engineers, and stakeholders to build scalable and efficient APIs that drive the functionality of our applications and services.

· API Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and other web services that meet business and technical requirements.
· API Integration: Work with internal teams to integrate third-party APIs and services into existing applications.
· Performance Optimization: Ensure that APIs are optimized for speed, scalability, and security. Monitor API performance and implement improvements as necessary.
· Documentation: Create clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation for API usage, including endpoints, parameters, and response formats.
· Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs to ensure high quality and reliability. Identify and resolve issues as they arise.
· Security: Ensure that APIs are secure by applying industry best practices and staying up-to-date with security protocols and vulnerabilities.
