About the Role

In this role, you’ll be the subject matter expert responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex production issues across our front-office investment and operations applications. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and data providers to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities

·       Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across critical applications.

·       Own escalated issues end-to-end, coordinating with development and external teams as needed.

·       Communicate clearly and promptly with stakeholders during outages or incidents.

·       Ensure compliance with Change Implementation Management policies for all production changes.

·       Collaborate with development teams to ensure new systems meet production readiness standards.

·       Maintain and update knowledge repositories for support-related activities.

·       Handle data access requests and other production system activities.

·       Drive automation and process improvements in Level 1 and Level 2 support functions.

 

Minimum Qualifications

·       Experience supporting Equity Front Office applications in a development or support role.

·       Strong incident, problem, and change management skills.

·       Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with minimal supervision.

·       Hands-on experience with:

·       Languages/Scripting: Angular, Node.js, Shell, Bash, Python

·       Debugging/Monitoring Tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes

·       Batch Scheduling: Control-M

·       Version Control/CI Tools: Bitbucket, Bamboo, GitHub

·       Database: Strong SQL skills for debugging complex queries

 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience in the Asset Management industry.

·       Public cloud experience or certification (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS).

·       Familiarity with automation frameworks for alerting and monitoring.
