Android Developer

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai and work on CashKaro & EarnKaro Apps. Both Apps have millions of downloads.  

Key Responsibilities:

1) Design and Develop Android Applications:

• Architect, build, and maintain Android applications for CashKaro and EarnKaro.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

2) Code Reviews and Mentorship:

• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

3) Performance Optimization:

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application efficiency.

4) Stay Updated with Industry Trends:

• Keep up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and techniques.
• Implement best practices in mobile development to ensure the apps are cutting-edge.

Must-Have Skills:

1) Proficiency in Kotlin and Java:

a. Strong experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

b. Must be working on well established Android Apps where there is large scale usage of the App

2) Strong Experience with Android SDK and Android Frameworks:

3) Deployment to PlayStore

4) Experience with RESTful APIs and Integration:

5) SDK Integration Experience with Third Parties and Events Setup

a. Should have an understanding on how to integrate with Clevertap, AppsFlyer, Branch etc

b. Should have strong experience is setting up events across the app for performance optimization and analytics for tech and marketing teams. Eg banner scroll events, scroll depth monitoring, etc
