AMI Architect

• Develop and maintain reusable technical architecture blueprints and standardized integration patterns for AMI systems.
• Serve as the lead technical authority on strategic AMI system integration projects and pursuits.
• Mentor and upskill technical delivery teams through training programs like the AMI SI Delivery Bootcamp.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery by creating scalable, repeatable methodologies.
• Guide active AMI projects with hands-on technical oversight and expert coaching.

Qualifications

• Proven lead architect on at least one full-scale AMI deployment for a North American utility (500K+ meters).
• Deep expertise in AMI domains like MDM, HES, CIS, OMS, GIS, DERMS, and AMI network architecture (RF Mesh, LTE, etc.).
• Strong experience in system integration and the full SDLC using both Agile/SAFe and waterfall methodologies.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with major AMI vendors (e.g., Itron, Landis+Gyr) and cloud platform integration (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred).
