- Conduct diagnostic studies and feasibility analyses to pinpoint opportunities where AI, ML, and RPA can deliver significant value within transport planning, operations, asset management, and customer service domains (e.g., predictive maintenance, passenger flow analysis, demand forecasting, smart ticketing, process automation).
- Advise internal teams and clients on strategic AI/RPA opportunities, translating complex technical possibilities into clear business benefits.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams (data scientists, engineers, IT) and transport experts to design and shape AI/RPA solutions that are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with operational requirements.
- Actively contributes to the design, development, and delivery of pilot projects, proofs of concept (PoCs), and full-scale implementations for AI and RPA initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate relevant AI/ML algorithms, RPA tools, technology platforms, and potential partners suitable for specific client use cases in the transport and mobility sector.
- Support client teams and internal stakeholders in adopting new AI/RPA solutions through targeted training, workshops, documentation, and change management support.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with SYSTRA’s diverse expert teams and clients to ensure holistic and integrated solution delivery.
- Support and coordinate internal development of Digital Engineering tools.
- Coordinate initiatives with other Entities and the Group.
Profile/Skills
- Education: Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Urban Mobility, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in applying AI, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics techniques to solve practical problems.
- Experience working with or for transport authorities, infrastructure operators, or smart city initiatives is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Pandas, NumPy).
- Solid understanding and practical application of Machine Learning concepts (including supervised, unsupervised, and potentially reinforcement learning).
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts and familiarity with leading RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- Experience with data management and processing techniques (data cleaning, preprocessing, transformation).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a consulting or advisory capacity.
- Experience working within or for the transport, mobility, infrastructure operators, or smart city sectors.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
