AstraZeneca is seeking an AI Automation Developer to drive cutting-edge AI-driven automation initiatives within our corporate infrastructure. This role is open to a range of candidates—from experienced web developers who have transitioned into AI/ML to AI specialists with deep knowledge of the latest AI techniques and automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered automation solutions across AstraZeneca’s enterprise systems.
  • Work with OpenAI technologies—either via direct licensing or by leveraging Azure OpenAI—while also integrating AI models into AstraZeneca’s proprietary infrastructure.
  • Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to automate and optimize complex business processes.
  • Develop and deploy AI models in cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or proprietary systems), ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Write efficient Python scripts, automation workflows, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement the latest AI methodologies to drive innovation and process efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to integrate AI solutions effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in AI automation, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python, scripting, and RPA technologies for automation.
  • Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or on-premises).
  • Hands-on experience with AI automation platforms, with the ability to develop AI applications from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in software development (10+ years) with a transition into AI/ML OR 3+ years of AI expertise with cutting-edge automation techniques.
  • Experience with NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, or reinforcement learning.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, RxJS, Tailwind CSS, or other modern development frameworks.
  • Prior experience working in an enterprise AI automation environment, particularly within a corporate or healthcare setting
