The opportunity

As part of our EY-DnA team, you will help clients in developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Using your expertise in data analytics you will help our clients to view data in context and make smarter business decisions to achieve improved products and services.
We’re looking for candidates with strong technology and data understanding in Azure data engineering space, having proven delivery capability. You will help our clients with designing and building data and analytics architectures to enable better business outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm as well as a part of a growing Data and Analytics team.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions using Python, Pandas and PySpark. 
• Strong knowledge of Data Engineering principles in implementing end to end Data Analytics solutions.
• Experience in any of the Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Should have knowledge on SQL and databases/ Data modelling
• Strong knowledge on the Python/Pandas/PySpark Data connections, associated libraries and transformations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with big data technologies, Databricks, Synapse is a plus

• Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements
• Design, develop, and deploy data solutions based on Python, Pandas and PySpark
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes
• Creation of the data ingestion pipelines
• Collaborate with other data engineers, data architects, and stakeholders to maintain and improve existing solutions
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely and effective resolutions
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the data engineering and cloud computing fields
