AEM Tech Lead

We are looking for an experienced AEM Lead with deep expertise in AEM & AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) development and migration. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams, ensure delivery excellence, and leverage modern development tools, including Generative AI technologies such as GitHub Copilot, to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, performant, and secure solutions on AEM.
• Drive migration initiatives from AEM 6.x to AEMaaCS, including strategy, planning, and execution.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members; remove roadblocks and enable smooth development workflows.
• Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) to accelerate development, enforce standards, and enhance code quality.
• Define and enforce development best practices, CI/CD automation, and code quality gates.
• Own and guide automated unit test development and integration testing approaches.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in backlog grooming, prioritization, and story estimation.
• Address blockers for user stories and provide proactive solutions.
• Ensure delivery meets Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, and security.
• Conduct detailed code reviews and performance optimization activities.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 3+ years of experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), preferably in a lead role.
• Proven experience in AEMaaCS-based development and migration projects.
• Deep understanding of modular AEM architecture, OSGi services, Sling models, and custom component development using HTL/Sightly and JSP.
• Experience with AEMaaCS DevOps, dispatcher configurations, and cloud-native practices.
• Strong experience in automated content migration to AEMaaCS using tools and scripts.
• Integration of AEM with RESTful/SOAP APIs, external systems, and third-party services.
• Knowledge of AEM workflows, user/role management, multilingual/I18N capabilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Adobe Certified AEM Lead Developer / Architect.
• Exposure to personalization, Adobe Analytics, Launch, and Adobe Target.
• Experience in Agile delivery and CI/CD automation in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with eCommerce integration with AEM (headless and non-headless).
• Hands-on API development experience.
