Active Directory SME / L3 Engineer

As an Active Directory SME / L3 Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for managing and modernizing enterprise-scale Active Directory infrastructure in a regulated, high-impact domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Administer and support Active Directory Forests, including AD-integrated DNS, DFS, DHCP.
Manage Azure AD (Entra ID), including hybrid setups with AAD Connect.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Automate tasks using PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor and enhance performance, redundancy, and capacity of the AD environment.
Lead and support L3 incident management for all AD-related issues.
Drive infrastructure improvements and contribute to technical roadmaps and planning.
Execute standard changes as per defined processes and compliance frameworks.
Document procedures and maintain knowledge base entries for operational continuity.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Active Directory Operations.
Strong knowledge of enterprise multi-forest AD architecture.
Expertise in Azure AD, hybrid identity models, and AAD Connect.
Solid scripting experience using PowerShell for automation and monitoring.
Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments (e.g., Healthcare, Pharma).
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident/change management.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
