As an Active Directory consultant, you will be working with the Messaging and Directory Services/Collaboration team. The primary focus of this role is to assist in an ongoing Active Directory simplification project, which involves the object reduction and decommissioning of a number of child domains within the TPICAP infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of Active Directory, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of all Active Directory related components to identify dependencies and potential impacts.
• Collaborate with tech owners and platform owners to gather requirements and ensure smooth execution of the various decommissioning and migration processes.
• Identify areas for improvement
• Adopts appropriate project management methods and tools. Manages the change control process and assesses and manages risks. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and delivers regular and accurate communication to stakeholders.
• Knowledge sharing to support teams by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams in line with company standards.
• Position will require being available to perform maintenance during non-business hours and over weekends
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during and after making any planned changes.
• Define and create process documentation for operational support on developed and existing engineering solutions
• Provide a 3rd line incident and problem escalation for applications and platforms in the Messaging and Collaboration space.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies throughout the project.

Person Specification
Experience:
• Proven experience in a technical project delivery
• Proven experience of Systems Administration
• In depth experience in a senior engineering role administering Active Directory environments
• Expert level knowledge and hands on experience administering Office 365 technologies including Azure.
• Process and service-oriented thinking and familiarity with the Incident, Problem and Change Management process (ITIL)
• Understanding of agile working methods.


Required Skills:
• Technical project management and delivery
• Active Directory, system administration, DNS
• Strong working knowledge on Windows server 2016 and above, Active directory, DNS and complex multi forest environments.
• Proven ability to resolve complex Active Directory and DNS related issues.
• PowerShell, Scripting and automating tasks
• Microsoft 365
