Job Description:
• Providing 3rd line engineering support for Active Directory services.
• Developing PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks related to Active Directory.
• Ensuring Active Directory security by maintaining crypto standards and implementing low-level role-based access control (RBAC).
• Adding, removing, and configuring Active Directory sites, sitelinks, and subnets.
• Installing and configuring DHCP servers.
• Diagnosing and resolving problems associated with the Directory Replication service.
• User and Group Management: Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units, ensuring adherence to security policies.
• Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS): Implement and maintain AD DS, including domain controllers, to ensure network resource availability and security.
• Group Policy Management: Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings and software deployment across the network.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor AD performance, system health, and security logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Disaster Recovery: Execute AD backup and disaster recovery plans, including regular testing and updating of recovery procedures.
• Integration: Coordinate with network and system administrators to integrate AD with other systems like email, DNS, and DHCP.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation related to AD architecture, settings, and procedures.
• working with Kerberos authentication.
• working with azure ad managing identities in azure like users, groups etc.
• DNS server management.
• exposure to PKI/Certificate management would be an added advantage.
• experience with migrating identities from one domain to another using migration tools.
Experience: Extensive experience in managing complex AD environments, including proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
Skills: Strong understanding of DNS, LDAP, and security compliance
