Description

Overall Responsibilities
End to end Accounts and Finance Activities in ZOHO Books and QuickBooks including Sales, Purchases, Expenses, General Ledger etc. Calculating Monthly PT, EPF, TDS and GST data and return filling.
Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reconciliation of Accounts Books Trial Balance, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet. Banking Operations and Bank Reconciliation
Handling Payroll and Salary Processing
Operations filings as needed
Accounting
Monthly Customer billing.
Monthly Payroll preparation, reconciliations, and GL booking
Monthly vendor payments review and reconciliation
Monthly reconciliations of consultant Hours billed and Hours worked
Preparation of Bank reconciliation statement
Manage close and preparation of Monthly, quarterly, and Annual financial statements and tax schedules as needed
Tax & Statutory
Preparing data for recon and filing of TDS and GST return.
EPF payment and return filing.
Statutory filings as need in coordination with legal
Operational support
Preparation of annual budget, targets, and bonuses
Computation and management of placement bonuses
Management of staff PTO schedules
Preparation of management reports as needed
Mange annual vendor contracts
Requirements
B. Com in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
4-5 years well rounded experience in CA firm or staffing or consulting industry preferred
Strong experience in GAAP accounting and tax and preparation of Financial Statements
Experience in GL accounting software – Zoho and QuickBooks required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent Organization skills. Enthusiastic and organized to manage company accounts transparently and efficiently
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
