ABAP Developer/Analyst

The ABAP Developer/Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and support of SAP ABAP applications. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of the SAP ABAP language, as well as a solid understanding of SAP database structures and functional modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), and Financial Accounting (FI)

Job Details:

•     Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

•     Design, code, test, document, and implement SAP ABAP programs.

•     Support and troubleshoot SAP development and interface-related issues.

•     Develop new custom ABAP reports and maintain/enhance existing programs.

•     Work on various SAP development components, including:

o     Interface programs (IDOCs, BAPIs, etc.)

o     Custom ABAP reports

o     User exits/enhancements

o     Remote Function Calls (RFCs)

o     Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)

o     Smart Forms and Adobe Interactive Forms

o     SAP Objects

o     Workflows

•     Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business processes.

•     Create and maintain technical documentation including development standards, program specifications, and test plans.

•     Provide accurate development estimates for project and support activities.

•     Lead or contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of SAP enhancements and customizations.

Skillset/Qualifications:

Required:

•     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

•     3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development

•     Strong knowledge of SAP ERP modules: Sales (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), and Finance (FI)

•     Experience with SAP Forms (Smart Forms and Adobe Forms), User Exits, Enhancements, and Workflows

•     Proficiency with interface technologies such as IDOCs, RFCs, and BAPIs

•     Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

•     Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

•     Experience with SAP S/4HANA

•     Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development

•     Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
